IO Armrest empowers the old to act alone in bathroom and respects the privacy of them.

According to the World Health Organization survey, 44% of the elderly have fallen in the bathroom, and 80% of the empty nest elderly can't be found and sent to the hospital in time, resulting in various serious consequences. To this end, we spent half a year inventing a set of patent solutions, using TOF ranging to monitor the horizontal space environment, and assisting machine learning to make judgments, senselessly detect bathroom falls under privacy, and send alerts in time. IO bathroom fall detection handrail may be the world's first low-cost and privacy-independent bathroom fall detection solution. It is a multi-disciplinary cooperation between student designers and engineers for more than half a year, using technology to benefit society.
